Ants Be Gone !

by Brenda
(Maine)

I like to keep some ant hills around for the ant eating birds such as the flicker but c'mon enough is enough! To get rid of ants in my garden and elsewhere on the property I scatter a little corn meal around the ant hill, in a week or so the ants are all gone or nearly gone, this may need to be done a couple of times. If the ant hill is not huge then once will do . The ants cannot digest corn meal and therefore die out. They take it back to the nest and the others eat it much to their demise. And best of all ...no chemicals .
